An exciting opportunity has arisen to work for a leading multinational business who operate within the Oil & Gas sector. The location is Dammam, Saudi Arabia

Job Purpose:

Supports and provides assistance on legal issues affecting CONFIDENTIAL interests and achieving the maximum legal protection for its financial, commercial and industrial activities

Job Description:

  • Foresees legal contingencies that may affect corporate interests, making and reviewing all sort of business contracts, reports, agreements and legal documents. Verifies the legal framework within which the operations of the company and its subsidiaries must be carried out. Participates and provides advise on legal issues involved in internal rules and policies and timely responds to legal queries made by the company corporate bodies and management
  • Procures the greatest possible legal protection for the activities carried out by CONFIDENTIAL companies following up the legal proceedings in which such companies may be involved and whenever legally possible and agreed with management, represents the companies in such proceedings
  • Provides advise on commercial and financial agreements to be entered by CONFIDENTIAL companies, and, whenever instructed, on draft provisions or agreements. Assists the referred companies in complying with corporate regulatory requirements including those imposed by corporate registries
  • Compliance responsibility for the company
  • Coordinating board meetings for the local company, acting as board secretary
  • Coordinating/ advising the CEO on the local stock market processes
  • Proactively motivates, coaches, communicates with and develops his/her staff and manages HR related activities in line with Human Resources norms and procedures. Protects from damage, theft or misuse the facilities, equipment and other physical resources assigned to his/her area
  • Complies with Confidential policies, procedures and management standards, and ensures adherence with all laws and regulations that apply to the area of responsibility
  • Education and/or Experience


  • Bachelor’s Degree in law
  • Registered lawyer in Saudi Arabia
  • 3-5 years of experience working in a corporate legal team, within a publicly listed company. Specifically, in Tadawel (Saudi stock market)
  • Fluent English and Arabic
  • Saudi Nationality is Essential
  • Must be business mind-set, confident and strong communication skills
  • Thinking out of the box and be creative
