Review of 2021

After a challenging but solid 2020 we are proud to say that 2021 went from strength to strength, with placement numbers up over pre-covid numbers. This is such a positive indicator for the UAE and the region – just showing how well we are recovering post the pandemic and that there are plenty of opportunities here for the right people.

As well as placing candidates in the UAE we changed people’s lives by finding them jobs in the wider GCC – most commonly Saudi and Qatar, in addition to further afield in Northern Africa, Europe and Asia.

Looking at placements made in 2021 compared to 2020, we (as always) had a pretty equal gender split – but this year placed more men than women. Whilst senior vacancies account for about a third of our placements, the majority of our placements fell into the middle management group and as always the largest age groups of people placed were in their 30s or 40s. Even more important though, is that we continue to place a diverse number of nationalities.
